Hello! I was wondering if treehouse is planning on having a Dreamweaver Foundations, I would love to see that! thanks!

28,148 PointsIMO, no need. If you use dreamweaver (I do) you should not be using it, but for a text editor. They teach you how to code from scratch, which is more job applicable, more desirable, and more powerful than anything dreamweaver could even "dream" of doing. I think it would be a step backwards for treehouse.
I only use it because it because that is what my work supplied. I never use any of the fluff in it, including the code view. That is what MAMP or XAMPP is for.
Please don't take offense to my comment, it's not to discredit your suggestion. I just have a different opinion on the topic is all. :)

Treehouse Guest TeacherThanks for the suggestion! Nick actually addressed this in a recent Q&A. Basically he said, "You don't need to learn Dreamweaver." Kevin pretty much nailed why.
My last job was on the team that ran a library's website, and we used Dreamweaver. I definitely don't recommend it, either. :)
